A medium sized toolbox secured with a simple padlock. Boxes of this nature are the most cost-efficient way to store a stalker's personal possessions, but the box offers little protection from the elements and is easy to force into. As a result, only the poorest stalkers will dare to leave anything valuable inside. The padlock is low-quality and can be bypassed with little effort.\n \n

Simple steel box with a padlock. Unlike toolboxes, this box is designed specifically to hold contents securely, and offers some degree of protection against tampering. These types of boxes are commonly used by stalkers to deter would-be thieves from looting their personal possessions. Professionally made lead-lined case with a built-in lock stamped with the symbol of the Ukrainian Ministry of Science. These cases are often used by Ecologists to transport artifacts through dangerous areas, and excel at keeping radiation inside while keeping moisture and would-be thieves outside. Even with hired guards, groups of Ecologists are often preyed upon for their collected artifacts and research data, and as such securing high-value information and artifacts in secure containers became standard practice. The internal lock is professionally made and very difficult to bypass.\n \n

<text>
Locked weatherproof box containing a variety of useful field supplies. These specialized dead-drop style caches are used primarily by paramilitaries and covert task forces to resupply their agents in the field while maintaining a low operational profile. However, there are no identifying marks in either the outside of the box or the inside, so it is usually hard to distinguish if cases like these belong to spies or simply well-heeled stalkers. Due to the inherent danger of burying things in the irradiated soil of the Zone, these caches are well-hidden with a decent enough lock to discourage thieves. Cases such as these do not contain much particularly valuable, though food, meds and ammo are always welcome. \n \n

Wooden case used by villagers to store weapons - hunting rifles, Great War surplus, etc. A handful of these were left behind in the Exclusion Zone's surrounding villages while others are simply reused crates found in the Zone by stalkers to hold their guns in a semi-dry environment.
