# Installation Guide for Divergent
Below is a detailed guide for installing Divergent for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, providing fundamental information for getting the modpack going.
## 1. Installing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly
1. [Download and install 1.5.3](https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-153) of the game
2. After the download has finished, extract the files to a location, inside of a folder somewhere on your drive that's not a Windows protected folder, I.E. ​`Program Files​` or ​`Program Files (x86)​`.
3. Download and install the latest [modded executables](https://github.com/themrdemonized/STALKER-Anomaly-modded-exes/releases/latest), extract the archive then drag and drop all the contents of it into the game folder
## 2. Installing the Modpack
1. Download and install the Modpack Installer.bat file into an empty directory, then double-click the bat file to run the installer
2. It will prompt to install Git, which is required to install the modpack, agree to download it and then hit Enter in the terminal
3. Paste the path of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly install you did in **1. Installing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly**
4. Let it run, and then once it is finished, double-click ModOrganizer.exe
- Optionally, right-click it and create a shortcut and move that to your desktop, or wherever you would like
5. Choose the appropriate executable, either **DX11-AVX** or just **DX11** and click Run (Any other DirectX version is not supported, so do not try to use them)
